See also the LumenPnP by Opulo [1]. It’s a fully open source (hardware and firmware) pick and place machine with optical tracking, basically a perfect match for the OpenPnP control software.

I'm stocking mostly 0402. We're shlepping it to various small assemblers, but considering a small PnP for in-house prototypes and as a reserve resource for when the assemblers are overcommitted or have other problems

It uses OpenPnP, or at least it did, it's been a while since I saw any of the videos ('Stephen Hawes [née the Robot]' on YouTube).
