Standard de-DE is _die Tram_, but with Austrian/Swiss differences, which is frequently true.

I don't know any Germans who would be confused on the gender of this word.

Duden claims all work, so I guess CH and AT both picked different genders out of the remaining der and das... (unless it's LI that has the third :-)
