> I understand how life could have eventually evolved to where we're at. But how did life _start_? Evolution doesn't explain how life started (or attempt to explain), just how it changes over time. How it started is obviously a really interesting question, but not one you can use evolution to understand. Evolution explains a specific thing, not everything. |
