Really enjoyed this read, but also couldn't help but feel sorry for the author still trapped in the labyrinth. "Just one more CMS and I'll be free..." The jewel in the post is the rejection of Vannevar's acolytes and their hand-wrought memexen. Biology already gave me a perfectly good memex in my skull. If its shortcomings give you anxiety, take 2 YAGNI until productivity resumes. |
