I'm sorry to hear that. Are you a refugee? Why do you say you will be on the streets? I hope you can figure out a temporary work situation to keep you housed, clothed and fed while you figure out what's next. I hope you can conserve the money you will receive and use it wisely, considering it's going to be a substantial amount of money and can see you through the winter perhaps.

It is very discouraging to be caught out in a bad market, and by an unscrupulous employer such as Amazon, but I hope you take some time to step back and enjoy Christmas. Companies often cut with no second thought, especially during recessions, but this is pretty capricious even by corporate standards. Best of luck.

I am from a 3rd world country. Currently I am working in Europe with a work visa. When I become unemployed, my visa becomes void and I will be deported. I already told my landlord that I was gonna leave the house in early Jan. They found a new tenant. Now, I need to go back to my home country and find a house and a job there.
