Also their website sucks as explaining it. 1. You setup a server at domain.tld
2. Your account is named Bob
3. Go and browse any mastadon instances you please- easy to find on Google.
4. You follow someone by copying their @username@domain and pasting it into your instance. Basically like following a blog with RSS
5. You can now see their posts and interact with them. They will see you as bob@domain.tld It's awesome. And was about 30mins of work. |
