Music is much much bigger than gatekeepers would like people to believe, and the only thing that matters is what comes out of the speakers. Find an instrument you enjoy playing. For me, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCtUtI3IeFQ because it is easy to jack in my headphones, press buttons, spin knobs and make sounds that I enjoy...the important words: easy and enjoy. Sequencers and arpeggiators are a blessing. Drum machines doubly so. MIDI manna from heaven. Nothing wrong with a piano, but there's no need to wait for decades of practice to get good enough to make myself happy. YMMV. Good luck. |
