In related news, I'd like to announce that I am ending my training for the 2024 Olympics. That car companies are giving up on this doesn't change the story at all because they were never real competitors. It never made any sense that manufactures of cars thought they could make self driving systems. Experience with supply chains, manufacturing, and marketing have zero translation to the problem space of self driving: sensing, interpreting, and decision making. |
