They weren’t lied to. Green cards for those countries have been backlogged for decades. Presumably anyone who has filed for a green card since the early 2000’s knew the situation they were getting into? The government is quite transparent about it. And check out the backlog for extended family green cards for the Philippines. It’s similar. |
