That is also my suspicion although Im not knowledgeable about the technical issues, economically and impactwise this seems insane and completely out of left field. I thought IBM or such were experimenting on 8qubit machines costing hundreds of millions. On the other handz I think there was also a cloud offer to use one for free, like wn old university computer, getting 5 seconds of compute. |
