At the target range I have noticed that police often drill with this anti pattern: 1. un-holster, aim
2. yell "Stop or I'll shoot" or similar line
3. fire a few rounds They train like this over and over, they never do a step 3 where they re-holster or stay aimed but do not fire. Thus they train themselves to automatically fire regardless of the actions of the person they are aiming at. |
