If you want to share music for free with people in the US in 2022 I think your best bet is going to be sharing links to YouTube.

Somehow YouTube has an agreement with most music labels that they can host music supported by advertising in some geographies. I get reports from people outside the US that these links don't work but I am being deliberately vague here because even though I know the links don't work in some other countries, there might be some countries they work in.

which I think could be adapted for music. In that case you need to pay to store the files and pay for bandwidth, of course you will need to pay the copyright owners too. See
