The answer I got from a head of IT of a medium size traditional company is that they have shitloads of processes, scripts, server calls all running without anyone of the people who wrote them on board anymore… they all work perfectly together, transactions are always guaranteed. Their job is simply to understand the machine itself rather than the software and make sure they keep it running |
