Since you are thinking about this in highschool, you are on the right track. There is not a AI dominated future that isn't driven by Software Engineers. You can either be an engineer creating AI/ML tech or an engineer using the AI/ML tech. There will also be a very long tail of "traditional" software engineering. But if you are still 4-5 years out from your "career" - you probably wont want to count on a traditional software engineering job. |
