I don't think it's crowded. Lay aside the legacy products - the old form factor M1 Air and 13inch Pro. You now have a very simple product line: Minimalist vs Maximalist and Small vs Big screen. The Airs will be thinner, have the basic M chips and 2 ports. The Pros will be thicker, have the juicy M chips, and have all the fancy ports. Nice market segmentation, simple differentiation. The only thing to do is wait 14 more years for them to kill off the legacy products. |
