Normal mirrors don’t break, so why introduce single point of failures in a currently distributed system? My cars last 8-10 years, while my tablets last 3-5. Unless the new, fancy stuff is swappable there’s going to be a whole lot of dead glass driving about the highways. And without the tactile feedback of traditional buttons it’s bloody difficult to turn things on/off without looking down. |
