Ubuntu 22.04 with proprietary NVIDIA driver. I made no changes to the driver nor tinkered with any settings. I did not run any weird/nerdy applications that might have affected the GPU at all. The only thing I did was running `apt update` and `apt upgrade` every day. One day, it just stopped booting into my desktop environment. Instead, it showed a blinking cursor. I followed some random tutorials online and uninstalled the driver, which fixed the issue. |
