If you want something new and good, I don't think that you should be looking at franchises. Especially not these days when devs are not stuck with boxed releases, so are able to release early and keep polishing and extending the same game for more than a decade. And I'm going to have to disagree about "not as good as we used to get". Is there any question that Zero-K/Spring (or BAR/Spring) aren't way better than Total Annihilation (ok, maybe not for the orchestral score), despite being entirely community-made ? https://youtu.be/pHQkctGTm_A |
