In starting a tech company in Australia this year, I don't feel that there were the resources (gov't) or opportunities (networking, events outside Sydney) available to those in the U.S. While there is more of a social safety net in Australia if you fail, the U.S. is where the action is (at least until decentralized startups are seen as comparable to localized ones). |
