"Casino Royale" is amazing. Not the same James Bond we think we know.

"Diamonds Are Forever" is the other one I recommend to people who want to read his best.

I stopped reading after that unbearable "Moonraker". "Diamonds Are Forever" is the next in the series. Might give it a try now.
