That was an interesting and enjoyable read. Thank you for sharing it. This goes very nicely with the Wikipedia rabbit hole I went down yesterday about "Clear-Channel Stations" [0], namely 700 WLW from Cincinnati, Ohio, United States [1]. WLW holds the distinction of being the only AM radio station ever authorized by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to broadcast with a power output of 500,000 watts, which happened in the 1930s.
