I kinda stopped reading where it started to equate a movie's box office revenue with its success. A successful movie is a movie that entertains its audience, not one that makes a few people rich. The correlation is there, but it's weak. I don't consider it problematic to see movie theaters go out of fashion and movie makers take a deeper look at what makes their art an art. |
