“I don’t know, I can try and find out for you” “I am not sure, maybe Sue (in same meeting) knows more about that area?” Are valid replies. Armed with various get outs, if you can’t answer or only part answer or only probabilistically answer then you will be OK you can say these
with confidence. And if you know you can answer with confidence. And sometimes it is wise to say you are not sure even if you are (avoiding a promise that might get broken) |
