Engineering staff, for sure. If my company decided all of a sudden to move from AWS to some other cloud (and nearly all of my experience as an engineer is with AWS), that’s a big headache for me and a lot of technology that I would have to re-learn. Or I could just go find another shop who is staying on AWS, and probably get a pay bump for myself too. |
