Is there some new way Prime is "going down the toilet" as opposed to Amazon's retail arm in general?

Some people still report that they get Prime deliveries in 2 days or less but many people believe AMZN is no longer offering this to their ZIP code.

I not only believe this, I have been led to believe this by Amazon itself. It's not possible to get free 2 day shipping here any more, things typically take a week or more.
