Saying many of our bits at the macro level can't repair themselves is a recognition of our biology and that state of medical science. It doesn't take away from the fact that life is amazing Yes, under a strict definition those are organs. But under the more common usage "a part of an organism that is typically self-contained and has a specific vital function, such as the heart or liver in humans." [1] they are not.
