Tolstoy's Confession is a short yet quite thoughtful read that I'm glad I happened to stumble on many years ago. I'm due for a reread. Even if you don't agree with the conclusions he comes to in there, you will likely relate to the struggles he shares. Herman Hesse's Siddhartha gave me a somewhat similar feeling after finishing it, which I'm also overdue for a reread. |
