What browser are you using? I'm using a Mac too. Could you describe some of your issues?

The ctrl+up and down are system wide keyboard shortcuts for lion by default.

Also, I would love vim keybindings.

Ah ok, thanks for the heads up. You're also not the first person to ask for vim keybindings - will add to my todo list

I'm using Chrome and all CTRL + something shortcut don't seem to work. Running Windows 7 here.
