Nowadays it looks like we are getting close to autonomous vehicles - but it was the same 20 years ago - I predicted then that drivers as a profession will disappear soon - and it still didn't happen. Like many people have already noticed: we overestimate what can be accomplished in the short term and underestimate what can be accomplished in the long term. |
