Ask most persons who text + drive and they will self-report their advanced multi-tasking skills. Ask anyone who shares space around them on the road and that opinion will be, approaching 100%, contradictory. Situational awareness and anticipation are key components to safely operating a vehicle, with or without 'assistance technologies'. |
