My entry to Scrivener was similar, except I came in from Pages. It was between Ulysses & Scrivener and, while I like Ulysses's look, I went with Scrivener and am glad I did. It does have a few too many options, which makes it a bit daunting, but one could simply stick with the basics and it'd be great. The syncing is probably the worst aspect, but as I don't write on my iPhone/iPad, it wasn't ever really an issue. |
