Whatever city you live in, odds are good there are units sitting vacant while people are homeless. 100% true and while I appreciate your perspicacity, this will not resolve the issue. Seattle has a vacancy rate of 3.6% according to your cited source. Cities need a supply of vacant homes, lest we all become New York (vacancy rate 1.4%): https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2022-02-18/looking-t...
