The salaries are high because of supply and demand. Big tech companies collude to "keep them low" because they are high. Nobody here has a problem with their salary being high, they feel it's totally fine because it benefits them. It's only when they experience the other side that they're outraged and want regulation. Which is totally natural and fine, and I'm not saying it shouldn't be allowed or whatever. But we should still be aware that that's what it is. |

Colluding to raise rent and colluding to lower salaries are the same action taken by different people.
Employees enjoying high salaries means nothing as long as they’re not banding together to distort the market outside of a union or workers guild.
