Gmail had no pressure to go out of beta. FSD safer than human drivers unlocks untold amounts of money.

While I agree with you, FSD is already safer than human drivers in some cases. Safer is not yet a quantifiable metric.

My guess is that FSD will be in Beta until such metric is defined, measured, and indeed FSD comes ahead of humans.
