Your partial quote of my sentence changes the meaning! I understand prison can serve more purposes than deterrence, I said it only serves that purpose when people understand why they’re there. This guy doesn’t seem like a violent danger to anyone that needs to be separated from society physically. He needs to be separated from a computer, which is perfectly doable outside of a prison. |
