As far as I know all the auction mechanisms are equal[1], in the sense that:
1. the items are assigned to the same bidders (paying the same)
2. the revenue of the auctioneer is the same In that sense you could chose the system that fits you the most. I personally think that selling tickets via auction is indesirable for other reasons. [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revenue_equivalence |
