I would interpret it as "don't put your life on hold". Life is all relative, so when you compare stuff, you compare it to what you know. Getting married and having my daughter (currently 1yr) has given me something amazing to compare everything else I do to. So, I'm still just as hungry to create "the next big thing" but if it doesn't happen, fine, I already got the top prize. I guess the irony is that my pursuit of "the next big thing" is so that one day I can spend more time with my wife and daughter, but actually it's currently having the exact opposite effect... |
