if my memory serves me correctly, for "standard" users, tweets are push - it will be pushed to all your subscribers, so they get instant feeds. for "celebrities", tweets are pull - when you open your feed it will pull the latest tweets for your celebrities from a dedicated cache for celebrity tweets (celebrity just means subscribed by >X people) |
