Other folks have said the basic (these aren't the same) but one thing that I feel like few people realize is that "Pull Requests" aren't actually a git concept at all. "Pull Requests" are just implementations that many web-based git tools (but not all!) have adopted to facilitate the code review process taking place on their platforms. |
