The rule of thumb is that you can get a lot of stuff cheaper in the US, if you know what you're doing. In Europe discounts are much lower, and prices are a lot more set in stone. However, the key caveat here is that most people don't know what they're doing. So in the US 80% of the population is robbed so that the 20% can take advantage. In Europe everyone gets a worse deal, but it's never going to be super bad. Pick your poison :-) |
