Either "pox" (very much not a good thing) or it looks like a misspelling of proxy

"Poxy page" literally means infected webpage, with infection using by implication being an STI.

Edit the 2nd: After actually visiting the homepage it's...appropriate.

Even if I liked that ascetic I would never want to be associated with that domain name, though.

It is very interesting to hear! Thank you for this writeup. I don't think it will be a problem tho, to all the people I've shown it to, like 5-6 people have absolutely loved the name, you're the first person who did not like it. I've heard people say it reminds them of proxy, pokemon and toxic. This is meant for individual personal use, so It does not really matters if companies do not want to be associated
