By materialistic cult I meant a cult that puts on pedestal your body and desires, especially the sexual desire. Above these two is a slightly finer cult of knowledge and mind. And buddhism concerns only what's above mind - buddhi, or wisdom. Edit: the "bad rituals" of those pseudo-buddhists includes orgies and animal/human sacrifies; they are not a bunch of philosophers who debate about terminology in ancient texts.

LGBT people are just people who like different things to the mainstream, they don't put body or desires on a pedestal in the same way that straight cisgender people don't do this.

Please don't make sweeping negative generalisations about groups of people in the way you've done in this thread, such an ugly way to treat other human beings.

Where did I mention lgbtq? I'm talking about a link between materialistic cults and a sect in Bhutan. Deciding who fits the description of a materialistic cult is up to the reader.
