Companies like Google often have several tiers of VP: VPs, Senior VPs, sometimes even Executive VPs, etc. It means that it's a manager very high in the hierarchy, but due to the company being big enough, there's non trivial amount of people like them among managers. P.S. According to levels.fyi (https://www.levels.fyi/?compare=Google,Bloomberg,Amazon&trac...) Google has only VPs and SVPs, not EVPs. |
