At Medusa, we always focus on providing a great developer experience. An important aspect of it is providing good documentation.

To improve our documentation, we collect feedback through surveys within the documentation and our Discord community. However, the best way to see what works and what should be improved is by observing developers using Medusa.

So, we’ll start conducting user trials around our documentation to further understand our users.

How it Works

- Developers register as participants. - For every user trial, we choose participants based on the goals of the trial. - We contact the participants, confirm their availability, and book a 30-minute video session with them. - During the video session, the participant has to complete a given task within the documentation while sharing their screen. - Once all selected participants have participated in the trial, we collect our findings into a report and plan for any changes and fixes within our documentation.

Who Can Register as a Participant?

All developers can! Whether you’re a Medusa expert or you have no idea what Medusa is, and whether you’re a beginner or an advanced developer, you can become a participant.

Participation Benefits

You’ll receive a $10 Amazon gift card for every session you participate in. You can have one session per trial, but you might participate in many trials.

We have also set up a referral system. If you refer other developers to register as participants, you’ll receive a $5 Amazon gift card for each one that completes the registration. All you have to do is mention the emails of these developers in the registration form.
