Also have no kids myself but can support this observation with N=2 anecdata. Couple of friends who continued to live their lives - with the kids as additional features - have ended up with kind, intelligent, thoughtful little people. Other couple who didn't have much adventurous spirit to begin with and sacrificed everything about themselves to do "parenting" have ended up with selfish, rude little shits. |
