After reading about stripe and twitter layoffs, and other large tech companies stopping recruitment, i started wondering about small and medium companies, software houses etc. How are they doing? Do they also stop recruiting and are preparing to lay off some people? Can you share your insight?

Well, I am a medium sized IT company in India, it's still hiring, but my bonus was magically reduced after my appraisal despite getting a pay bump in my fixed pay. But overall, my salary has gone up ~5%.
