Some years ago I flashed patched bios to run "not supported" wifi card on HP notebook. For some reason they had a whitelist of wireless modules you can use. Pretty sure I used that website for patching said bios.
A few years ago I was really into overclocking and wanted to mess with my RAM. Didn't really get good timings, so I flashed a custom bios for better RAM stability (and also termination resistance settings iirc) on my Biostar X370 GT7. Didn't really help much sadly.
