Last paragraph: > They make sure to note that they’re not calling for consumption of sugar instead, because excess sugar is absolutely, positively linked to adverse health effects. I think they care about the substitutes because that's an area where the harm is often debated and much is still unknown. They don't seem to be suggesting that sugar is preferable in any way. |
