If my boss would send me annoying survey questions every day. He'd 'understand' that he's really annoying me.

Is it really annoying though? It takes 5 seconds to respond to a pulse question and it is not disruptive at all. And you will have to respond just once a day.

On the flip side, it provides a structural mechanism for sharing feedback about what's working and what's not.
