I think the worst one I've ever seen was a nurse I know was given a pen (of bic quality), a $10 giftcard to fast food, and a lanyard as a gift from the hospital during COVID. She was pulling double shifts and exposed to all sorts of hazards (the union didn't come to save them on PPE for a long time). This hospital, by the way, is insanely profitable. I'm not sure how you could insult people more. Even no gift would be less insulting. |
